Ward was born April 15, 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. She was a student at Ouachita High School to complete her secondary studies. But, she transferred into River Oaks High School after the summer. Following graduation, she briefly was a student at Northeast Louisiana University. At the age of thirteen, old, Ward began modeling, leaving the school and relocating into New York in order to do so. Her acting career started just a couple of years later down the road. Her first role was uncredited in 1970s in the soap opera All My Children. Later she was a part of NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. In late 1996Ward was offered a part on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, she began a film career, starring on The In Crowd as psychotic Brittany Foster. The film, which was at first a failure financially in cinemas and then on video-on-demand (VOD) it became extremely popular. Ward was a cameo in Shallow Hal - a smash movie the following year. She also played a part as a guest star on many TV shows and direct-to-DVD films. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. The personal side of her life is a marriage to producer David C. Robinson. The couple has one son named Cameron.
