Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15, 1996, at Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being awed by the sounds it would create. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. When she was six she started playing the piano and at nine, started writing songs. She didn't tell her family about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being famous.
