Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry's support for the song Runaway in a blog post gave the artist some additional recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement and being fascinated at the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not for an income or as a pastime, but as an opportunity to grow. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. After her mom said that her songs would not just help her get noticed, and also inspire others to see their value within the global community and see the possibilities for the songs and her music, she was inspired to start singing in public. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of creating songs. For her, music is the best way to feel anything.
